Need a week to disappear this summer?
How about a Magic Camp? This is a 5-day camp that runs from Monday thru Friday 9:00 AM till 4:00 PM. Any boy or girl 8 or older can participate.

Magic as a hobby?
It’s not just about the secrets. Performing the art of magic as a hobby produces some great positive results including:

• Confidence and self esteem by performing in front of people and entertaining them

• Hand-Eye Coordination

• Multi-task thinking

• Discipline in the study of the craft

• Trust in the keeping of secrets and methods

• Friendships around the world with other fellow magic enthusiasts

• Studies in art, history and culture

Is it hard to perform magic?
Like any art, it takes practice and a willingness to study. Of course it also has to be fun! Much like music lessons, some people play at home for family while others become concert maestros. Whether you perform magic for your friends or as a way to pay for college, amazing your audience can be a very rewarding experience.

After 53 wonderful years in magic, I wish to pass my knowledge and experience on to young people and share the joy I've found in the profession.

Session 1,2,3,4,5,6: This is a variety of magic, stage, parlor, standup & close-up. These Classes are offered all six weeks.

End result: The kids will have enough material to put together a great 30-minute show.The students will learn theatrics, movement, stage direction, and of course all the magic skills necessary.  

Cost: The cost for Sessions 1thru 6 is $350 for the week which includes $150 of magic supplies. Class size limited to 10 students. A minimum of 4 students is required to make a session .

Session 3 or 4: This is silent manipulative magic all choreographed to music--a very European style of magic.

End Result: Students will have created a 10-minute show suitable for perfomance or competition at magic conventions.

Session 5 or 6: This is comedy magic--stand up interactive magic that involves talking and interacting with the audience with humor. Students learn timing to deliver those funny lines of laughter as they are perfoming the magic.

End Result: Students will have created a 30-minute show suitable for performance or competition at magic conventions.

Cost: Because of the supplies needed for Sessions 3-6, the cost is $550 per week which includes $250 for supplies (peforming table and all the magic props).

Magic Camp will be held in my magic studio, located at my residence on 2 acres in a wooded surrounding in Channelview, TX, just 30 minutes from downtown Houston.  We always have some kind of car pool with the other parents.

For out-of-towners there are several motels within 2 minutes of my studio and plenty of resturants.

Registration is one-half down, which can be paid on line.  Balance due the first day of class.
